2020 Australian Board Remuneration Survey Report

This is the seventh year of the Australian Board Remuneration Survey. Last year’s survey was based on remuneration data from 1545 Boards, covering:
273 Listed Public Boards
170 Unlisted Public Boards
329 Private Boards
33 Not for Profit Boards
183 Government Boards
183 Government Boards
In addition, remuneration data was published for 1195 MD/CEOs, 617 CFOs, 311 Company Secretaries, 179 CROs, 325 COOs and 173 Chief People & Culture Officers and other C-Suite roles.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Closing date for submissions has been extended until 5.00pm AEDT Friday 22nd May 2020.
Completing the survey
To prepare for the questionnaire we strongly recommend that contributors download a PDF copy.
This will allow you to ensure you have everything you need before commencing.
Who should respond?Company secretaries and human resources professionals who have access to data on the remuneration of their organisations.
Executive and non-executive board directors, whether or not they are currently remunerated for their positions.
If you do not feel you can complete this survey, we would really appreciate it if you could forward the email to the next most appropriate person in your organisation. This will allow us to ensure that the data is as comprehensive as possible.
This survey will be published annually to create an accurate picture of the remuneration practices and to help boards and senior executives make more informed decisions.
Data collected during the survey process will be analysed in aggregate form by MMC.
Responses will remain absolutely confidential and will not be made available to any other party.
